A five spot for safety at Sprinkles Ice Cream Shoppe. Starting at 4:30 this afternoon and continuing until 7:30, the Southern Adirondack SAFE KIDS chapter will be set up along the bike trail on Glenwood Avenue to offer children's bike helmets for just $5. Children must be present to purchase a helmet and there is a limit of one helmet per child.
State law dictates anyone under the age of 14 wear a helmet when riding a bicycle. Common sense suggests that anyone riding a bike wear one. Today's heat demands ice cream.
Get thee to Sprinkles for safety and sweets.
