As a result of changes in the federal minimum wage, businesses will be required to post the new federal minimum wage notice in workplaces on July 24, 2007. This new poster can be accessed and printed from here.
Until July 24, 2009, New York State employers will continue to use the current state minimum wage of $7.15 per hour. Then, the New York State minimum wage will automatically increase to $7.25 per hour to be consistent with the federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
