YP Olympics at the YMCA

What happened at the YP Olympics at the YMCA last Friday shall remain a secret. Those of us in attendance have vowed NOT to talk about the unique opportunities that presented themselves to us. Let's just say that we will never be the same because of the extraordinary planning of Kristen Hamilton and Mandy Rudolph, our hosts from the YMCA, who made sure that our time there was memorable. Some lifted weights, some rode a stationairy bike, and some ran without being chased, and others even.....

Special thanks to our event co-chairs Nick Taylor and Chris Nelson, Kristen and Mandy, and the folks at Hannaford, as well as the participants in this healthy night out. Best of all, the efforts of these community leaders and others helped us to raise some funds for the YMCA's Strong Kids Scholarship Program. We also owe a special thanks to the children in the YMCA Summer Camp who created the most supportive "medals" ever seen some of which are on display in this photo of our organizing committee.
