Our “Jump Start 2009” initiative will help local companies succeed, grow and thrive by providing our members with an unprecedented array of programs. This initiative is being organized cooperatively by the ARCC’s professional staff and the volunteers who serve on the ARCC’s Board of Directors. The goal is to empower our members to generate new sales leads, to reduce costs, and to buy local. A sample of our “Jump Start 2009” programs includes:
• A “free for members” Supplier Zone seminar from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., on Wednesday, January 28th, in the ARCC’s conference room. Learn how to do business with several larger local employers such as; Fort Hudson Health Systems, Glens Falls National Bank and Tribune Media Services.
• A “Networking Luncheon” for members-only on Tuesday, January 20th, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m., at Sweet Basils. The cost is $15 per person.
• A “Networking Luncheon co-hosted by the ARCC and the Washington County LDC on Friday, February 6th, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Cambridge Hotel. The cost is $15 per person.
• Our “Meet the ARCC Board of Directors Networking Mixer” at the Olde Post Grille, on Thursday, January 15th, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost to attend is just $5 for members.
• A “free for members” teleconference from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.., on Friday, January 16th, featuring Attorney John Aspland of Fitzgerald Morris Baker Firth, PC; Rick Fuller of Fuller & LaFiura, CPA’s; and John Pietrangelo, Heslin Rothenberg Farley and Mesiti. Participate from the comfort of your own office by telephone to learn and ask questions about legal, accounting and intellectual property issues facing your company in 2009.
• A “free for members” teleconference from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 22nd, featuring Debbie Meier, of Tribune Media, and Marcy Dreimiller, of the Glens Falls Hospital. Participate from the comfort of your own office by telephone to learn and ask questions about finding and retaining extraordinary talent in 2009.
