Usherwood opens 7th NYS office in Plattsburgh

February 6, 2011 - On January 3, 2011, Usherwood Office Technology completed the acquisition of Burgess Enterprises Ltd., of Plattsburgh, New York. Burgess Enterprises Ltd. had served Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties for over 46 years and has represented Canon Copiers in the area for the past 30 years.

"This acquisition gives us real economies of scale for the North Country by boosting our service presence in the three counties," said company CEO Lou Usherwood.

As part of the acquisition, Usherwood Office Technology has retained all Burgess employees and is proud to count Clinton County, Adirondack Medical Center, Paul Smith's College, Saranac Lake Central School District and the Awkwesasne Casino as some of its newest customers!
