Budgets and Forecasts for Small Business

Small businesses often fail due to lack of financial planning and cash. This course targets those individuals whose businesses are struggling, those who plan to start a business, as well as those interested in financial planning. Have you ever wondered where your money goes, and how you can control your cash? This course will provide a basic understanding of budgets, cash flow and forecasting. Small business owners need to harness their resources through financial planning. Budgets are the foundation of every financial plan, whether you need a loan, or just to see how you are doing now and 12 months down the line. The course will highlight different ways to formulate budgets, focus on cash flow and cash projections as well as overall forecasting and strategic plans. This class has no prerequisites, but some knowledge of Excel will be helpful.
