Senator Clinton and Congresswoman Gillibrand Meet ARCC Leaders

Carl Cedrone, of Edward Jones Investments; Rick Fuller, of Fuller & LaFiura, CPA’s; and Todd Shimkus, President of the ARCC were among more than 100 New York business leaders to meet with Senators Hillary Clinton and Charles Schumer as part of the Chamber Day in Washington DC, on May 10th. Senator Clinton briefed these chamber leaders on energy and gas prices, improving the agricultural economy and helping New York’s farms to secure the workers they need to operate.

Later in the day, the ARCC delegation joined with their counterparts from the Southern Saratoga, Fulton County and Schenectady County Chambers of Commerce to meet with Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand. Carl Cedrone and Todd Shimkus urged the Congresswoman to consider inviting their Congressional counterparts from Hillsboro, Oregon to join a new congressional task force on nano-technology recently formed by the congressional delegations from New York’s Tech Valley and Austin, Texas.
