Knot Leaders

The Leadership Adirondack program had its first official class session of the year today at Adirondack Community College.

The class heard from Buck Bryan, professor, veteran and leader extraordinaire.

Later ACC President, Dr. Ron Heacock, a graduate of the Baltimore County leadership, spoke to the class about his perspective on leadership.

After a morning of traditional lecture and Q&A style presentations, the class met with Rick Dawson, Director of Adirondack Adventure Sports at Adirondack Community College.

The team building exercises that Rick has led for the last three LAdk classes have been immensely popular, drawing introverts out and sending certain participants to cry out in mock anguish as they struggle with the challenge. This year's experience was no different. Great job, Rick!

Of course the title is a play on words, this class is an incredible group of leaders that our community is lucky to have. Stay tuned for updates on the LAdk Class of 2007-08 Class Project.
