The Chazen Companies, a leading provider of engineering, land surveying, environmental, planning, and landscape architecture services, announced that sixteen professional staff have attained certification as LEED® Accredited Professionals based on the criteria awarded through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). USGBC is a nonprofit organization composed of leaders working to advance buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable and healthy places to live and work. Driving its mission to transform the built environment is USGBC’s LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™, which is supported by the LEED Professional Accreditation program, administered through the Green Building Certification Institute.
