On Thursday, April 16, 2009, the ARCC's Third Thursday Networking Mixer at the Hampton Inn & Suites, in Lake George, attracted 143 humans, 4 animals and 1 reptile. Besides enjoying great hors d'oeuvres, drink specials, networking, the human attendees had the chance to pet a Tiger, to feed two Bears, to talk with a Monkey and to get wrapped up by a Boa Constrictor. Safe to say, this was not your ordinary chamber networking mixer. Pictured above is Rick Reach, of the Glens Falls Technology Group, petting the Tiger near the hors d'oeuvres table. Thankfully, our insurance carrier was nowhere to be seen.
