The 10th annual Saratoga National Bank – Saratoga Center for the Family 5K Cross Country Classic Run/Walk at Saratoga Spa State Park will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
The 5K Cross Country Classic Course in the Spa State Park is the home championship course of the state and nationally ranked Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks High School Cross Country Team as well as the course for sectional and regional high school and college cross country races. The course is a combination of flat and hilly, open and wooded trails winding through the beautiful and scenic Saratoga Spa State Park. The race also serves as the USA Track & Field Adirondack Association Cross Country Championship Race.
All proceeds will benefit Saratoga Center for the Family, a local not-for-profit organization helping families in crisis and victims of child abuse and neglect. The race and walk registration fee is $20 through October 12th. Thereafter and on the day of the race, the registration will be $25.
