Hyde offers chance to win $10,000 grand prize; Total of $12,000 to be awarded

Glens Falls, NY – Tickets are now on sale for The Hyde Collection’s “Louis Hyde Whitney $10K Giveaway”, one of the Museum’s largest annual fundraising efforts.

Each year, only 350 tickets for the raffle are sold at $100 each. The special reception and drawing will be held at The Hyde Collection on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 6:30-8PM and pre-event purchase of a raffle ticket entitles the bearer and one guest to attend the drawing. Ticket holders need not be present to win.

The Grand Prize is $10,000. In addition, a second place prize of $1,000 and two third place prizes of $500 each will be awarded during the evening.

According to Hyde Executive Director David F. Setford, “The Hyde holds this annual event to help carry forward Louis Whitney’s legacy of support for The Hyde Collection.”

Scoville Jewelers, sponsor of the fundraiser, is offering a $100 store credit toward a purchase for anyone bringing in a $10k ticket between December 4 and 31, 2010. (Maximum credit is $100 per person.)
