Have A Seat in Glens Falls Invites You to a "Chair-itable" Auction

You've seen the chairs, now it's your chance to be the highest bidder and own one. Have your favorite one-of-a-kind piece of art in your office, home or garden. This auction will benefit: Crandall Public Library, Glens Falls Business Improvement District for City Park, Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council and the "Have A Seat In Glens Falls" Artists. Following a fun cocktail party (open bar - beer & wine from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm) with live music by the Dick Caselli Trio, the auction begins - hosted by auctioneer extraordinaire Martin Seelye. This will all take place on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Queensbury Hotel, 88 Ridge St., Glens Falls. Ticket price is $30 per person and reservations can be made by sending a check, made payable to LARAC, to Lynn Shanks, Crandall Public Library, 251 Glen Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801. If you are a serious bidder, please be prepared to take your chair home with you right after the auction. It'll fit in the trunk of an average sized car. Bubble wrap and loading assistance will be available.
