Let's Give 'em Something to Talk About

The Network for Enterprising Women's March meeting packed the Queensbury Hotel Ballroom with local business women looking to make contacts. Using the 5Minute Networking software, it was possible to take 40 minutes of a 60 minute meeting and create oppportunities for each attendee to make 7 new contacts.
Patti Alexander from the ARCC coordinated the registration process in the weeks leading up to the event, and in fact, worked quick on her feet and replaced missing registrants with walk ins. The meeting began a little something like this:




And quickly turned into this:



A quick review of surveys after the event illustrated the effectiveness of the program by the most commonly left comments being:

Make the networking longer.
Provide a follow up contact list.


We are already taking thsoe comments under advisement and determining new ways to use the software to satisfy the demands of our members.
